But in all seriousness I think this is the last time that a TV series that is rolled out episodically will unite the world in the viewing of its final season. Particularly given that streaming services like Netflix, Amazon and Stan have changed the way in which we watch a series and introduced us to the binge-watch.
For that reason, when season 8 of Game of Thrones finally made it onto our small screens, it had a lot of hype to live up to, and did it? No. So in honour of the first 4 possible 5 seasons of a show that I absolutely adored, the next 2 seasons that I tolerated and the final season that annoyed the shit out of me for SO MANY REASONS; my fan art this week is of Dany (season 3) - “Daenerys of the House Targaryen, the First of Her Name, The Unburnt, Queen of the Andals, the Rhoynar and the First Men, Queen of Meereen, Khaleesi of the Great Grass Sea, Protector of the Realm, Lady Regent of the Seven Kingdoms, Breaker of Chains and Mother of Dragons”.

After spending 8 years watching this series, it's an understatement to say that I was disappointed with the rapid fire way in which the final couple of seasons played out; for a much better ending watch this video to see how GoT should have ended.
