First semester was all about leading the audience astray with the promotion of the film Draco, in semester two the promotional posters will now give a sense of the era and style of the animation in the actual film.

Final Character Animation Piece
This is what I've been working on for the past few weeks, an assigned character animation piece set to dialogue. I really aimed to capture a sense of 'connection' between the two characters during their interaction. I also worked hard to ensure that the movement remained fresh through diligent redrawing of every single frame (an animation epiphany for me). Finally, I aimed to make the actions realistic and expressive; I'm happy with the result and can see where I have improved and where I will improve in the future. See it Here.

Concept Art for Draco
A few concept art pieces for Draco. Main aim was to see how the characters 'fit' in their environments and how a particular atmosphere can be portrayed through the setting. A challenge was to get the right level of desaturation to enable the characters to pop and the backgrounds to play a supporting role.
